Viewpoints and Integrated Enterprise Architecture

Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a capability to manage the complexity of an enterprise with the goal of creating coherent enterprises. Enterprise complexity is managed by mapping enterprise parts (e.g. Strategy, People, Technology etc) to understand how each part is related and how all the parts fit together to achieve an organization's vision. Capability modeling has become a standard approach for developing business architecture to transform and evolve an enterprise. Business capability modeling provides a shared understanding of the relative value of all business activities the business must perform to achieve the desired outcome.
